1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Low, for a lady, but not terribly low. Still pleasant to the ears, a rich alto tone when she chooses to sing.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? There's plenty of hesitation normally, except for when she's angry or excited. That's when the words just tend to bubble up inside her and spill out without order.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? She's tried her best to tune the "country" out of her voice—or at least what she takes that to be. Mostly she's just succeeded in giving herself an accent/dialect that sets her apart from her home village. Which suits her just fine.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Given how remote her home village is, chances are that she speaks anything other than Common (English equivalent) are very slim. There might be a few High (Latin) phrases here or there, but mostly only identifying terms for plants.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? As mentioned in #2, excitement or anger tend to make her words spill out and her accent/dialect falls back to her home village's.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She takes her time...most times, thinking about an answer if it's somewhat of a touchy subject. It's not in her to try and rile someone's anger and in turn rile her own on purpose.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Again, referencing #2 and #5 of this section for circumstances. But for the most part she's somewhere in the middle of the two, leaning more heavily to inarticulate when it's a new situation/feeling. She has grown up in the country, rural areas, and so formal education one might get in a more city-like area is vastly different.
